So glad you’re here, Whitney is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a mother of two.

Whitney is a pediatric speech therapist who specializes in providing speech and language therapy for young children and families. She started Blossom Speech Therapy to create a place where parents feel fully supported in the therapy process, while giving children individualized treatment. Whitney knows that parent and caregiver involvement is key to success, so coaching is a fundamental aspect in her approach.

Speech Therapy

After completing a comprehensive evaluation to determine the nature of your child’s speech sound errors, we then create interactive and motivating sessions for your child to practice their new speech patterns, while using evidence based strategies. While learning how to coordinate age-appropriate sounds, your child will be able to say words that are meaningful to them with confidence.

Language Therapy

While taking a child-centered approach to language therapy, meaning that individualized sessions are provided based on the child’s goals and interest. The session will also be play-based to enhance your child’s comprehension, expression, and social language skills. Language therapy will aid in growing your child’s vocabulary, combining words into longer sentences, understand and follow directions. Your child will have the skills to authentically engage with others to form meaningful relationships with confidence.

  • STEP 3: THERAPY SESSIONS

    After reviewing the results of the evaluation, we will develop an individualized treatment plan to address your child’s areas of need. We will schedule treatment sessions to target these skills and create a home program to maximize progress.

  • STEP 1: CONSULTATION

    Contact me to schedule a complimentary consultation. This can take place via phone or video call. We will discuss your concerns and address any questions you may have to determine if a communication evaluation would be beneficial.

  • STEP 2: EVALUATION

    Evaluations include case history/background information and a informal/formal assessments, as needed. An evaluation report will be provided as well as recommendations for next steps.
